 Eggnog Latte

"It wouldn't be Christmas without one (or several!). If you have a home espresso machine, this is a great holiday coffee treat."

 

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup 2% milk
• 2/3 cup eggnog
• 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger brewed espresso
• 1 pinch ground nutmeg

Pour milk and eggnog into a steaming pitcher and heat to between 145 degrees F to 165 degrees F (65 to 70 degrees C) using the steaming wand. Brew the shot of espresso, then add to mug. Pour the steamed milk and eggnog into the mug, using a spoon to hold back the foam. Spoon foam over the top. Sprinkle nutmeg  on top of the foam

 

Best Lemonade Ever

"This is a very refreshing drink!"

 

 

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 cups white sugar
• 8 cups water
• 1 1/2 cups lemon juice

Directions

1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.

Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water

Party Punch VI

Ingredients

• 1/2 gallon strawberry sherbet
• 2 (64 fluid ounce) bottles fruit punch
• 1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage, chilled

Directions

Place sherbet in punch bowl. Pour in fruit punch and lemon-lime soda

 

 

Snow Flake Cocoa

Ingredients

• 2 cups whipping cream
• 6 cups milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
• Garnish:
• Whipped cream
• Candy canes

Directions

1. Stir together the whipping cream, milk, vanilla, and white chocolate chips in a slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture is hot and chocolate chips are melted. Stir again before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and candy canes, as desired.

 

 

Golden Wedding Punch

Ingredients

• 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
• 1 (46 fluid ounce) can sweetened pineapple juice
• 1 3/4 cups lemon juice
• 2 cups white sugar
• 1 gallon water

Directions

1. In a 2 gallon punch bowl, combine orange juice concentrate, pineapple juice, lemon juice and sugar. Stir in water.

 

 

Party Lemonade

 "An easy to make fresh lemonade recipe for a crowd. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and maraschino cherry."

Ingredients

• 12 lemons, thinly sliced
• 3 cups white sugar
• 4 trays ice cubes
• 8 cups cold water

Directions

1. Thinly slice lemons crosswise. Try to remove as many seeds as possible. Put lemon slices into a large punch bowl. Pour sugar over the top of the lemons. Using a potato masher or wooden spoon, pound lemons and sugar mixture until sugar is dissolved and lemon slices are broken.

Add ice cubes and stir in cold water. Serve in tall glasses.

 

Yummy Pink Punch

"Great tasting! Made it at my wedding! Everyone loved it! Raspberry sherbet and cranberry or raspberry ginger ale make this one a keeper!"

 

Ingredients

• 4 liters cranberry ginger ale
• 1 gallon raspberry sherbet

Directions

In a large punch bowl, pour 2 liters chilled cranberry ginger ale. Next scoop raspberry sherbet into bowl. Then pour the other 2 liters of chilled cranberry ginger ale over sherbet. Serve.

 

Party Punch IX

"This is the best punch I have ever tasted and is requested at every shower and wedding that takes place in our family and at our church

 

Ingredients

• 3 (3 ounce) packages fruit flavored gelatin mix
• 4 cups white sugar
• 13 cups boiling water
• 2 (46 fluid ounce) cans pineapple juice
• 1 (16 ounce) bottle lemon juice concentrate
• 2 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled

Directions

1. In a large bowl, combine gelatin and sugar. Stir in boiling water until mixture is dissolved. Stir in pineapple juice and lemon juice concentrate. Divide into 2 containers, and freeze until solid.

To serve, place gelatin mixture in punch bowl, and chop into pieces. Pour in ginger ale.

 

Incredible Punch

"Absolutely the best punch! A hit at showers, teas and kids' birthday parties. It's made with cran-raspberry juice, ginger ale and pina colada mixer and has a beautiful pink color

 

 

Ingredients

• 2 (46 fluid ounce) bottles cranberry-raspberry juice
• 1 (32 fluid ounce) bottle pina colada mix
• 2 liters raspberry ginger ale soda

Directions

1. In a large plastic container, combine cranberry-raspberry juice with the pina colada mix. Freeze overnight.

Remove from freezer 30 minutes prior to serving. To serve place frozen slush in punch bowl and slowly add raspberry ginger ale

Aileen's Punch

"My sister's friend gave her this recipe years ago to use at our parents' 25th wedding anniversary party. We never had a name for it other than Aileen's Punch! This is very refreshing and so easy to put together. I recommend making an ice ring out of extra pineapple juice or apricot nectar."

• 1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice

1 (46 fluid ounce) can apricot nectar

• 1 (6 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate
• 2 liters lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

Directions

1. In a punch bowl combine pineapple juice, apricot nectar and limeade; finally, pour in the lemon-lime soda.

 

Floating Island Punch

Ingredients

• 2 cups water
• 2 cups white sugar
• 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
• 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
• 1 pint orange sherbet
• 1 liter ginger ale
• 1 liter carbonated water
• 1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries
• 1 orange, sliced in rounds
• 4 cups ice

Directions

1. Bring water to a boil. Add the sugar and boil until it becomes a syrup. Let cool.
2. In a punch bowl combine lemonade, orange juice, ginger ale, and carbonated water. Mix in the sugar syrup. Add ice and sherbet. Just before serving add cherries and cherry juice and float orange slices on top.

 

Spicy Bloody Mary Mix

"My father-in-law first introduced me to this homemade bloody mary mix. It is very similar to what you'd buy in a store. Made as is, it is very spicy. You can customize it to your taste by cutting back on the pepper and hot sauce; I like about half the pepper and hot sauce. Enjoy this wonderful mix! It is so easy and much cheaper than buying pre-made mix

 

Ingredients

• 1 (46 fluid ounce) can tomato juice
• 1/2 (10.5 ounce) can condensed beef consomme (such as Campbell's ®)
• 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
• 1 tablespoon celery salt
• 1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Directions

Mix the tomato juice, beef consomme, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, celery salt, and black pepper together in a pitcher; chill.

 

 

Eggnog I

Ingredients

• 6 eggs
• 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 quart milk
• 1/3 pint heavy whipping cream
• 1 pinch ground nutmeg
• 1 pinch salt

Directions

1. Beat eggs; mix in condensed milk, vanilla, quart of milk and salt.
2. Beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form. Fold in to egg and milk mixture and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve chilled

 

Peppermint Patty I

• 1 (1 ounce) envelope instant hot chocolate mix
• 1 fluid ounce peppermint schnapps
